Computer drawn dendrobatid

computer drawn dendrobatid

My newest “masterpiece” *cough*. Tried drawing one of my frogs (dendrobates tinctorius) on the computer using the mouse. All I can say is: I wish I had one of these neat graphic tablets. The mouse appears to be my enemy. … Drawing and coloring done using Open Canvas 1.1 (hey, it’s free; free is good.) As you can see the pic’s finished, it’s not as if I had given up in frustration. *ahem*

Also, the real frog looks a bit different; but I’m sure he’ll forgive me for forgetting to add the black spots on his legs (oops?) and for adding too little blue to the stomach. Oh well. I’m aware of the hind toes, if anyone noticed some missing. ;)

Mini-Phalaenopsis 'Little Lady'

A mini-phalaenopsis. Well… at least that’s what I bought it as. *shrugs* And… it looks a lot like the mini-phalaenopsis ‘Little Lady’. It is quite a tiny orchid: somewhere between ten and eleven centimeters. ;)

Beach. Sunset. Enough said. ;)

Right. Sunset in Husum (Northern Germany). And there’s water too. ;) And clouds.

Frogs are incredibly interesting animals; frankly, they totally deserve to be drawn. So there. ;)

Drew this little one from a photo – since you so rarely meet live foxes. ;)

First entry and a few drawings…

Hi there guys. :D

As you can see, this is my first blog entry. I thought, since I enjoy photography and have recently (a few months ago actually) discovered the joy of drawing, that I might as well post my photos and drawings on a blog. Just to get some feedback, y’know, since that’s always so nice to get. Well, maybe not all feedback… ;)

Anyways, here’s some drawings I had to do in school (and I have to admit, back then I wasn’t all that interested in drawing, even though it wasn’t that long ago)

There you go.  Hope you like them. :)
